Full-lifecycle D365 F&O expertise for small and mid-sized businesses, delivered by senior consultants who have worked in this platform since it was called Axapta. Based in Denver, Colorado, working with clients internationally.
Most Dynamics work splits cleanly into two disciplines, and most consultancies staff them separately. A functional consultant understands your business process and configures the system to match it. A technical developer writes the X++ that handles what configuration cannot. When those two people work at different firms, or worse, at the same firm but on different projects, the gap between them is where implementations go wrong.
Four Notch covers both. The person who maps your order-to-cash process is the person who understands what it will take to build. That means fewer translation errors, faster decisions about whether something should be configured or coded, and no finger-pointing when a requirement turns out to be harder than it looked.
Process design and configuration across distribution, warehousing, ecommerce, and financials. Translating how your business actually works into how the system needs to be set up.
Custom X++ development, extensions, SSRS reporting, and Visual Studio work. Senior delivery on customizations from specification through deployment.
EDI, ecommerce platforms, payment processors, shipping carriers, WMS systems, Azure Data Factory, REST APIs, and third-party ISV solutions.
Version upgrades, LCS administration, environment provisioning, Azure DevOps pipelines, and the release cadence that comes with a cloud ERP.
Power BI, SSRS, Fabric data pipelines, and Dataverse integration. Getting reporting that people actually trust and use.
Performance tuning, process optimization, and the ongoing work that determines whether an implementation holds up two years later.
D365 Finance & Operations is a substantial platform, and it is not the right answer for every business. It earns its keep when you have real operational complexity: multiple warehouses, serialized or lot-tracked inventory, multi-company or multi-currency structures, heavy integration requirements, or manufacturing and distribution processes that generic accounting software cannot represent.
If your needs are simpler, Business Central or a well-chosen industry package will serve you better and cost far less to run. We will tell you that. Talking a business out of F&O costs us a project and saves them a great deal of money and disruption, and we would rather be the firm that does it.
Where we are usually the most useful: companies already on Dynamics who need senior help without an enterprise contract, businesses inheriting an implementation that did not go well, and organizations who need a specific piece of work done properly rather than a full-time partner relationship.
There is no bench to keep busy and no utilization target to hit, which means scope gets built around what you need rather than what keeps a team billable.
Fixed scope, defined deliverables, clear timeline. Best for implementations, upgrades, and integration builds with a definable end state.
On-demand consulting for questions, troubleshooting, and work that arrives unpredictably. No minimum commitment.
A set monthly allocation with priority access. Best for businesses that need consistent support and want predictable consulting spend.
Tell us what you're working through. We reply within one business day, and there's no obligation — we're happy to give initial guidance even if we're not ultimately the right fit.
